1. Planning, Implementing and Coordinating uninterrupted traffic flow in the Metro Phase II alignment and diversion routes especially during the construction phase
2. Coordination and liaisoning with District Administration, Police, Fire Force, MVD, KSEB, KWA, PWD, Health department, Local Self Governing bodies and other stake holders including resident associations
3. Formulation of traffic plan, identification of new routes.
4. Coordinating for putting up of traffic signs and direction boards.
5. Consultant will be responsible for selection, deployment and supervision of traffic wardens.
6. Listening to grievances of stake holders and public and timely resolution of the same.
7. Timely submission of reports and suggestions.
8. Any other assigned activities KMRL may deem fit.

Retired Police person who had worked in a post not below the rank of a Deputy Superintendent of Police in Kerala Police, preferably in Kochi, with minimum 15 years of experience in policing.
