Train Operations

Train Operation faces a variety of challenges when planning, staffing, moving and

controlling trains. On the one hand, we need to follow legal requirements and
regulations. On the other hand, we need to guarantee personal safety and safety of

passenger maintaining punctuality and reliability .The past year we operated with at
most punctuality and reliability.

Women in Metro" chat show organized by OneIndia Media was an insightful

event,highlighting the roles of women in various sectors of the metro services. Anju

and Arya, representing train operations, and Reshma, representing station operations,

shared their experiences and perspectives on their responsibilities and the criticalities

involved in their roles.The questionnaire about responsibilities, criticalities, and social

responses have provided an opportunity for the women to discuss the challenges

women face in these traditionally male-dominated sectors, as well as the progress

that’s been made in terms of equality and acceptance. It also have touched on how the

public perceives and responds to women working in such critical infrastructure roles.
