Upskilling and Empowering: Training Center
Investing in employee development is a cornerstone of any successful
organization, and KMRL recognize this. To bridge the knowledge and skill
gap, KMRL established a dedicated Training Center. This facility serves as a
hub for enhancing employee capabilities, providing them with the information
and instruction needed to excel in their roles.
The training scope extends beyond KMRL's own staff. The center caters to
outsourced personnel and interns from various colleges, fostering a well-
rounded learning environment. In the year 2023-24, the center conducted a
remarkable 147 training batches, equipping a total of 1115 individuals with
valuable knowledge. These comprehensive programs accumulated a total of
11,223 training hours across diverse disciplines.
One noteworthy initiative
involved Emergency Train
Operator Training for eight
KMRL executives. This
specialized program aimed to
equip them with the necessary
skills and knowledge to
effectively manage and operate
trains during unforeseen
emergencies. By proactively
investing in such emergency
preparedness measures,
KMRL demonstrates its
unwavering commitment to
prioritizing safety across its
entire operational network. This
focus on continuous learning
ensures that both staff and
passengers can navigate the
metro system with confidence.
