Completion of Phase -1
The wait for seamless travel to
Kochi's cultural hub is finally over! On
March 6th, 2024, the Thrippunithura
station, marking the completion of
Kochi Metro's Phase 1, was
inaugurated. Prime Minister Shri.
Narendra Modi virtually flagged off
the inaugural train, symbolizing the
extension of the metro's reach and
offering a faster, more convenient
travel option for residents.
The station itself boasts a royal touch,
reflecting the rich heritage of
Thrippunithura. Passengers can also
explore Dance Museum, celebrating
Kerala's diverse dance forms. This
inauguration marks a significant step
forward for Kochi's public
transportation network, promising a
more connected and vibrant city.
