Awareness Programs.

KMRL in association with various colleges and organizations have conducted several

public awareness campaigns in the form of flash mobs and other campaigns. Some of
the campaigns includes Say no to Drugs campaign, Swimming awareness program,

Diabetic day programs, International Yoga day program, Albinism awareness

programs, Women cancer awareness campaign and Menstrual hygiene awareness
program.

Metro Travel

Kochi Metro has organized a fun ride for differently abled children of Reena Memorial
Samrakshana Special School. Apart from this, several group bookings were

successfully completed with the help and assistance of Kochi metro station staff.
Senior citizens, differently abled children and people from different palliative care

centers experienced their first metro travel with the assistance and help of station staff.

Sustainability Initiative

Rajagiri college of social sciences, in collaboration with Kochi Metro Rail Limited,

introduced "Re Threads" - a pioneering initiative aimed at reviving and reusing fabric to
empower communities through sustainable attire practices. Distribution of up-skilled

cloths was inaugurated on Sep 08 2023 at Kaloor metro station by MD. Shri. Loknath
Behera and continued last year at Kaloor and Edapally stations.
