There are two approaches in Risk Analysis in any metro rail industry based upon
system criticality and their applications:
1.Quantitaive Approach
2.Qualitative Approach
The Qualitative approach is the approach adopted in Kochi Metro and whereas the
usages and analysis using the Quantitative approach shall be done thoroughly
analyzing the failures and hazards.
