Passengers commuting to/from the Kochi Airport can now easily access Kochi Metro services, thanks to KMRL’s new Pavan Doot feeder bus service. This feeder service, which was flagged off on 20 February 2020 by Shri. V J Kurian IAS, MD – CIAL, in the presence of Shri Alkesh Kumar Sharma, MD – KMRL and several other dignitaries, will include a fleet of electric buses that will ply between Aluva Metro Station and Kochi Airport, every 40 minutes. The ticket rate for one-way journey will be Rs.50. Kochi Metro expects to tap into the airport passengers segment with Pavan Doot, which has solved the last mile connectivity problem to/from the airport.
