A four-member team from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), one of Asia’s largest international development finance institutions, met Mr. Alkesh Kumar Sharma IAS, MD – KMRL and other senior KMRL officials on 13-12-2019.
The ADB team, led by Mr. Shantanu Chakraborty, Director – Infrastructure Financing, visited KMRL’s Operation’s Control Centre at Muttom, newly-opened Metro stations across the city, Vyttila Mobility Hub and construction sites at Petta where the phase 1 extension of Kochi Metro is underway.
“The meeting went on well. We discussed the metro rail project and also potential funding for the Phase 1 extension with the ADB team”, said Mr. Alkesh Kumar Sharma IAS, MD – KMRL.
